If you choose the DP infinity, then you may need to reflash your PCM first but I am not really sure. If you wish to have your PCM reflashed anyway.the dealer is not your only option. At that point whatever calibrations is written onto the PCM will be irrelevant. All you need to do is purchase a TS or DP style chip and install it onto the PCM. Is going to a Ford dealer my only option for getting the stock program back? Any idea on what they charge to re-program it back to stock?In many cases you will NOT need to return your PCM to stock calibration. I would like to return the stock program and then buy my own tuner so I have control of the programming options. I don't have the original programmer so I am stuck with that one tune. I have a 2002 7.3 that appears to have a performance tune installed from a handheld programmer.
